Founded in 1970, Festival Interceltique de Lorient has become one of the largest Celtic music festivals in Europe. Each year, for 10 days in August, hundreds of thousands of spectators descend on the city of Lorient in northern France to watch the very best in everything from music and dance to photography, theatre and sport.
