What is HebCelt?
The Hebridean Celtic Festival is a music festival which take place in the Scottish Hebridean island of Lewis. Run almost entirely by volunteers, community plays a vital role in the success of the festival.
Since 1996, HebCelt has been a key event in the cultural landscape of the Outer Hebrides. Today, the festival welcomes both locals and visitors from across the globe. It offers an incredible opportunity to enjoy the vibrant music of the festival as well as the stunning scenery of the Outer Hebrides.
There’s even an opportunity to learn Gaelic at the festival. HebCelt is passionate about celebrating and protecting its heritage, including Gaelic and traditional music. Throughout the festival, you can find workshops to learn some Gaelic phrases!
When is HebCelt?
2025 marks the 28th HebCelt Festival which takes place between 16 – 19 July. The annual music festival typically runs for several days in July and brings together the best of local and international talent. HebCelt features both household names and emerging talent to provide music for all ages. Don’t miss out on this incredible event!
