I have settled in very well in Scotland, um right from the moment I landed I think people have been very helpful to me. Just generally everywhere I've been Edinburgh, Dundee, St. Andrews – people feel like a community and they want to interact like a community and that's something I've found so fascinating about, about this about Scotland and it's helped me settle in very well.
The town I'm living in, St. Andrews, that's, that's amazing you know just it's nice to see familiar faces we can interact with daily. My faculty has been so good so I, I would really think yes my experience so far has been quite it's been interesting as well because it's something I didn't expect I didn't expect it would happen so soon.
I really enjoy the weather of Scotland. I know it's not something everybody would say but it's just I really like it when the overcast skies there's, there's wind blowing and it's…other thing is you know, a little while later the Sun will come out because the wind is blowing and and I come from a hot country so it's just really nice to be able to enjoy this sort of pleasant weather and I look for I almost actually look forward to the Cold.
I'm studying film and I would really like to teach later on so it immediately dives right into my future plans. I think the experience of Scotland itself of, of being of actually spending time with, with your fellow scholars and of spending time with, with, with your with your students your fellow students that's something I'd like to take back to wherever I go in the future.
If somebody asks me whether they should come and study in Scotland I'll say yes and I'll say be prepared for a surprise because it's much more beautiful than you think it is. Today's the first time I came to Edinburgh and I just got off my bus and I looked around I said oh my god I don't know why I haven't ever been here before I don't know why I'm not living here and the thing is but immediately I said you know what I'm living in St. Andrews and that's so
beautiful as well I have the sea right next to me and you know these beautiful ruins and it's really that about Scotland it's it's it's the beauty which you can't get over every morning I wake up and I look around here like I feel lucky.
