The thing that I find fascinating about Edinburgh in particular is that it's such a microcosm of everything I would want in a city. We've got the talent, we've got the engineering mind set, this is a nation that has invented everything that's worth inventing. That sort of mind set, I think, is incredible.
That openness, to challenge and to 'what might be' that Americans have, actually came from many Scots. And it's my conviction, that Scotland has within it, that core, that pioneering, that inventiveness, that risk-taking.
I think Scotland has been invaluable to us in launching our company. I think we found everything we've needed in here - a small and fairly homogenous market, but with the variety that we needed to test out our concepts, with the skills that we needed, with the support from government. It's just absolutely been wonderful to get established here.
