I chose Scotland because I had the privilege of studying abroad during my undergrad and I got to go to Italy for about four months and I fell in love with being abroad and I think getting an education abroad is pretty important. I saw that Glasgow was, like, rated like one of the friendliest cities in Scotland and saw that they had a program and started looking at pictures and it looked like Hogwarts so I fell in love and that's why I chose to come Scotland.
I had a really easy transition coming from an English-speaking country to Scotland obviously was pretty easy for me. Everyone in Scotland has been so friendly and so welcoming I've already made a lot of friends and my course has been hard but like not too hard so I've
actually settled in a little easily. It's really refreshing coming from where I grew up people are not super friendly on the streets and stuff and here I feel like I can connect with anyone on the street even if they're not from Scotland. There's just kind of like this atmosphere of being friendly and I like that a lot.
One of the reasons I also came to Scotland was because of the healthcare system differences in the US and in Scotland This like will be an invaluable experience for me in that regard. My message to someone who wants to study abroad in general is to come to Scotland. I truly think that an education abroad is such a worthwhile experience, like you
really get a lot out of it. You're not just talking to people who are just like you, you're talking to people from around the world and that has been an awesome experience for me.
