The 10th Scotland Run 10k
2013 marks the spectacular 10th anniversary of the annual Scotland Run 10k which has become a favourite in New York’s packed running calendar. This year we’re celebrating the 100,000+ participants who have made a decade of the Scotland Run 10k possible.
The Scotland Run takes place on 6th April 2013 in Central Park, and will see up to 15,000 runners and spectators dressed in tartan and saltires enjoy a right Highland fling! For any runners out there, we have developed a Scotland Run playlist packed with all the best songs from Scottish bands, musicians and DJs of the past few decades – call it Aye-Tunes!
Central Park also plays host to the Scotland Run festival featuring live music from Stanley Odd and Breabach, pipers, drummers, ceilidh and dancers from Edinburgh’s Telford College. Everyone is welcome to come along for some family friendly fun with face painting and photo-booths that will transport you straight to Scotland.
