It might sound silly...but I knew almost the day I met him that he was someone special. It was only a matter of months after we met that he was offered an opportunity to work in Scotland. We were young and in love, so I said yes! Let's go together. Let's go to Scotland.
But, when he was busy at work I was exploring...visiting...thinking...meeting people. I think I came to the realisation and honestly - I didn't see it coming. As much as I moved here to be with someone I loved...I had actually fallen in love again...with the country I now call home. I came to Scotland because I fell in love. But I ended up falling in love with Scotland too.
