What Are You Going To Do?
“This year at St. Mary's the Primary 6 pupils have been busy organising an afternoon of celebrating unique Scottish talent. The children have identified performances that range from traditional Scottish Highland dancing, reciting of Scottish poems to the playing of the chanter etc. The Primary 6 pupils have not only organised the event but will also act as hosts.”
“We will be holding multicultural dress week leading up to a St. Andrew's Day tartan day on the 30 November. Children and families will be invited to bring in traditional foods from their homeland and to help us celebrate with short bread, Irn-Bru, porridge, haggis, neeps and tatties.”
“The children in the Primary 6/7 Gaelic unit are holding a St Andrew’s Day assembly where they will perform and dance. This is an enterprise project and will be organised by the children themselves.”
