That is where Scots designer Maeve Gillies has set up her jewellery workshop, putting her love for her home country into the elegant gold and diamond rings, cuffs and earrings that Americans are flocking to buy.
Home on one of her frequent visits, Maeve said: "I specialise in unique modern engagement rings in a celtic style.
"They are very different to what is usually sold in America where engagement rings tend to be quite large, ostentatious and very sparkly.
