Scottish innovation aids India's dental market

3D Diagnostic imaging has signed an exclusive deal with Mumbai-based Analytical and Medical Technologies (AMT) to market its CarieScan PRO tooth decay detector in India.
This follows the announcement last week of an agreement with Wisdom International Medical Science and Technology Co. Ltd for the Chinese Market.
AMT has 40 direct employees and distributes its products through 28 sub dealers across the country. It specialises in importing innovative high technology dental products from around the world. The company has contacts with the 270 dental colleges registered in India.
"The potential for growth within the Indian market is believed to be significant and this is a welcome addition to our recent agreement covering China and to our other agreements covering the whole of North America as well as Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK,” commented Graham Lay, Chief Executive Officer of 3D.
