Half a million visit revamped National Museum of Scotland in six weeks
STV
More than half a million visitors have been through the doors of the new National Museum of Scotland since it opened six weeks ago.
The museum reopened in July after a £47m refurbishment project that took three years.
The figures come after 22000 people rushed through the doors on the first day to see what had been done at the building on Chambers Street in Edinburgh.
The listed Victorian building has been returned to its former glory with the huge auditorium leading to new public spaces.
Interesting in seeing the National Museum of Scotland for yourself?
