Boon for skiers as season kicks off early

The cold snap meant many winter sports enthusiasts were out on Scotland's slopes.
Ski centres reported a busy weekend in one of the earliest starts to the season in years.
Many winter sports fans flocked to the slopes on Saturday and Sunday to take advantage of the cold snap
At Nevis Range in Fort William, slopes opened two weeks earlier than scheduled - the earliest opening for 13 years.
