"Born and raised in Glasgow, I've been working in Los Angeles for four years. Don't get me wrong, the city, its art scene, the sunshine and palm trees are fantastic. I attended the most marvellous Scots-Mexican wedding here that proved that Mariachi music and tequila are a perfect complement to bagpipes and whisky. But I miss the Scottish sense of humour. Scotland Week should come to the West Coast. The City of Angels definitely needs a few laughs and more Scottish smoked salmon."
