"I'm really excited about Scotland Week this year and can't wait to make new friends and meet up with friends I made when I played a New Yorker in 'Geordie' as part of Tartan Day celebrations 2006. It was an exciting and fulfilling experience and I learned a lot. I was really nervous about taking my New York accent there. I'd based it on movies and I wasn't sure how it compared to the real thing. The audiences in New York were entirely different, playing to an American audience was much scarier as they were more vocal in their critiques but they also seemed more into the story and sympathetic towards the characters."
