"I've travelled widely, even as far as China, but Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world, particularly the Inner and Outer Hebrides where I've painted for 40 years. Standing on the edge of the green water and white sand of Traigh Bhan Beach on Iona looking across to Ben More and The Gribun Cliffs on Mull is heavenly. I've always said that if Heaven isn't as good as this, I'll be a wee bit annoyed with God."
