Second only to the St Andrew’s Day Ball in popularity, our Burns Supper is always a wonderful event . . . a fun mix of a traditional Burns Supper, with all the toasts and recitations that are a part of honouring Scotland’s favourite son, and a ceilidh, with dancing and singing taking the fore.

Founded in 1907, the Winnipeg Robert Burns Club has held a "Burns Supper" on an annual basis since the inaugural event in 1908. Now in its second century, the Club continues the history of semi-formal, convivial occasions in the traditional Burns Supper format.

Held at the Gimcrack rooms at York Racecourse. The Haggis is the star of the night, of course. With all due honour and respect the wiley bird will be piped to the top table and addressed in style. There follows yet another sumptuous meal and orations to the immortal memory of the great bard. Dance the night away to the live accordian music of Ian Slater. The Dance Programme will include a mix of styles from the Waltz and Foxtrot through to Dashing White Sergeant and Eightsome Reel. Carriages at 1am.
